Mohammed Musse, 20, of Spotter House, Berger Road, Hackney, has been charged with violent disorder, having been arrested on the day.
All three suspects were bailed after being released under investigation last November.
Now that they have been charged, they will appear in court on Thursday.
Police are still investigating the incident, which happened at around 2.35am in a flat in Bartholomew Court.
Steven, from Belvedere, which straddles London and Kent, was found suffering stab wounds and died at the scene, while another man, 20, later recovered from similar injuries.
